1. Prepare your bike
Position your bike where you can work freely and have access to water. Outdoors or in a garage works best. If the bike is heavily mudded, you can pre-rinse it with a hose.
2. Choose application mode
Set the atomiser to "foam" if the bike is heavily soiled with mud or oil. Foam adheres better to vertical surfaces and works longer on dirt. For light soiling, select "stream" mode.
3. Saturate the bike with cleaner
Evenly spray the entire bike with cleaner — frame, forks, wheels, chain, derailleurs and brakes. Use plenty of product on heavily soiled areas. Avoid spraying directly inside hubs and bottom brackets.
4. Allow to work
Wait 2–3 minutes for the cleaner to work. You can prepare a bucket of water or make yourself a coffee in the meantime. Don't let the product dry on the bike — on sunny days, work faster or reapply.
5. Rinse and dry
Switch the atomiser to "stream" mode or use a garden hose to rinse the entire bike thoroughly. Ensure all cleaner residue is removed. Wipe the bike with a microfibre cloth or let it air dry naturally.
Important
Do not apply to hot surfaces — wait for the bike to cool after riding. Store at 5–25 °C. The product requires no dilution — it's ready to use straight from the bottle. Do not allow the product to dry on the bike — rinse within a few minutes of application.
Tip
After washing, it's the ideal time to lubricate the chain and check the bike's condition. For best results, use OC1 Chain Lube (Wet, Dry or Wax — depending on riding conditions). To protect the paint and add shine, apply OC1 Polish&Protect once dry.
Can I use OC1 Bicycle Cleaner on an electric bike?
Yes, the product is safe for electric bikes. However, avoid spraying electronic components, displays and electrical connectors directly. Spray onto a cloth and wipe these areas instead.
How often should I wash my bike with this cleaner?
It depends on how often and in what conditions you ride. After every muddy or rainy ride, it's worth washing the bike. For dry conditions, every 2–3 rides is sufficient. Urban cyclists can wash every 2 weeks. Listen to your bike — if the chain becomes noisy or you see deposits, it's time to clean.
Will the product damage the paint on my carbon bike?

Do I need to remove the wheels before washing?
No, you can wash the bike with wheels fitted. For more thorough hub cleaning, it's easier to remove the wheels, but it's not necessary. The product will reach most areas without dismantling.

Does the product need diluting?

Is the cleaner safe for brake discs?
Yes, the product is safe for brake discs and pads. It leaves no residue or film that could reduce braking performance. Rinse the disc thoroughly with water after washing.
What if the cleaner dries on the bike?
If the cleaner dries, simply respray the same area and wait a moment to "reactivate" it, then rinse with water. Avoid drying in the sun — on very hot days, work faster or in the shade.
Do I need brushes for cleaning?
