Temperature you can rely on

Engine overheating is one of the most serious problems motorcyclists face. High temperatures shorten engine lifespan, reduce performance and can lead to costly failures. OC1 Racing Ice Coolant solves this problem effectively and reliably.

This is a professional coolant that stabilizes engine operating temperature, providing optimal protection in all conditions. It was developed for demanding users who expect maximum performance from their equipment.

Main properties

OC1 Racing Ice Coolant stands out from standard coolants thanks to its advanced formula and wide operating range. Here are the key features that translate into safety and performance of your motorcycle.

  • Extreme resistance – operates in a range from -26°C to +136°C, ensuring reliability in freezing winters and during intense riding in heat.
  • Comprehensive protection – protects all metals against corrosion and seals against damage.
  • Prevents deposits – anti-scale additives maintain clear cooling channels and maximum system efficiency.
  • Eliminates foaming – anti-foaming additives guarantee stable pump operation and effective heat dissipation.

Who should use Ice Coolant?

OC1 Racing Ice Coolant was created for a wide range of motorcycle users who value reliability and high cooling system performance. If you ride in extreme conditions — both in summer heat and during winter rides — this radiator fluid will give you confidence that the engine will operate at optimal temperature. It works perfectly on long routes where the engine is under load for many hours.

It's an ideal solution for sports riding enthusiasts who require stable temperature during dynamic rides, owners of off-road and enduro motorcycles exposed to variable weather conditions and intense engine operation, as well as motorcyclists using vehicles year-round who need protection against both freezing and overheating.

Ice Coolant is also dedicated to those who value engine longevity and care about extending the lifespan of cooling system components, as well as users demanding reliability who don't want to worry about the cooling system. It's a solution for those who leave nothing to chance and expect their motorcycle to perform flawlessly in all circumstances.

When to use Ice Coolant?

Using OC1 Racing Ice Coolant is particularly important when the engine operates under increased load or when ambient temperature is extreme. The fluid performs excellently during summer heat when air temperature reaches 30-40°C and the engine is at risk of overheating. It protects equally well in winter, preventing coolant freezing even at -26°C.

  • Long routes in heat – when the engine operates for many hours in high ambient temperature.
  • Intense sports riding – during which the engine reaches high RPM and temperature rises rapidly.
  • Off-road riding – where the engine is loaded by climbs and difficult conditions.
  • Winter use – when protection against coolant freezing is needed
  • Coolant replacement – as part of regular cooling system maintenance

Why is Racing Ice Coolant better?

OC1 Racing Ice Coolant is an advanced version, created for demanding operating conditions. Compared to standard coolants, it offers a wider temperature range and better protective properties. Its formula ensures the engine operates at lower temperature, which translates into better performance, reduced wear and longer lifespan.

High-quality anti-corrosion additives protect not only the engine block but also the radiator, pump and all cooling channels. This keeps the cooling system clear and efficient for years. Compatibility with ethylene glycol-based fluids means you can use it in most motorcycles without worrying about chemical reactions or seal damage. It's a universal solution that gives confidence in proper operation.

1. Check system condition

Before filling the cooling system, ensure all hoses, fittings and seals are in good condition. If you notice leaks or damage, repair them first. The system must be sealed so the fluid doesn't escape.

2. Drain old fluid

If the system contains old fluid, drain it according to motorcycle manufacturer recommendations. Use an appropriate container and remember that used coolant must not be poured into drains or the environment — take it to a waste collection point.

3. Fill system with Ice Coolant

Open the radiator or expansion tank filler cap. Slowly pour OC1 Racing Ice Coolant into the system until you reach the level recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. The product is ready to use and requires no dilution.

4. Bleed the system

After filling, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to remove air from the system. During engine operation the fluid level may drop — top up to the proper level if needed.

5. Check level after riding

After your first ride, check the fluid level in the expansion tank. If it has dropped, top it up with OC1 Racing Ice Coolant to the correct level.

Important

  • Never open cooling system when hot — hot fluid is under pressure and can cause burns.

  • Work only with cold engine — wait until the engine cools down before starting work.

  • Wear protective gloves — protect your hands from fluid contact.

Tip

Regularly check coolant level (once a month or before long trips). Sudden level drop may indicate a system leak that should be fixed as soon as possible. Remember to replace the fluid every 2-3 years to maintain its protective properties.

Can I mix Ice Coolant with another coolant?

OC1 Racing Ice Coolant is compatible with ethylene glycol-based fluids, so theoretically it can be mixed with fluids of this type. However, to maintain full effectiveness and protection we recommend draining old fluid from the system and filling it 100% with OC1 Ice Coolant.

Is this coolant suitable for all motorcycles?

Yes, OC1 Racing Ice Coolant is universal and can be used in all motorcycles with liquid cooling systems, provided the vehicle manufacturer allows ethylene glycol-based fluids. Check your motorcycle manual for the recommended fluid type.

Do I need to dilute this fluid before use?

No. Ice Coolant is ready to use — you pour it directly into the cooling system without any preparation. It requires no dilution with water or mixing with other substances.

How often should I replace the coolant?

We recommend replacing the fluid every 2-3 years or according to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommendations. Regular replacement ensures optimal protection against corrosion and deposits, and maintains the fluid's cooling properties at the highest level.

Will Ice Coolant damage seals in my motorcycle?

No. OC1 Racing Ice Coolant contains additives that protect seals from damage. The formula was developed to be safe for all materials used in cooling systems, including rubber and silicone.

What is the difference between Ice Coolant and Motorcycle Coolant?

Ice Coolant is the Racing version with a wider temperature range (boiling up to 136°C vs 130°C) and lower freezing point (-26°C vs -25°C). Ice Coolant works better in extreme operating conditions, during intensive sport riding or in very low temperatures.

How much Ice Coolant do I need to fill the system?

Cooling system capacity depends on the motorcycle model. It usually ranges from 1 to 3 liters. Check your vehicle manual for how much fluid your system requires. A 2 l bottle is sufficient for most motorcycles.

What to do if fluid level keeps dropping?

If the fluid level drops faster than normal, it may indicate a leak in the cooling system. Check hoses, fittings and radiator for leaks. If you notice a problem, consult a mechanic — leaks can lead to serious engine failures.

Can I use Ice Coolant in winter and summer?

Yes, Ice Coolant is universal and works year-round. Its wide temperature range (from -26°C to +136°C) provides protection against both freezing in winter and overheating in summer.

Will the engine run cooler after using Ice Coolant?

Yes. The Ice Coolant formula was developed to lower and stabilize engine operating temperature. The motorcycle operates at lower temperature, resulting in better performance and longer component lifespan.
