1. Clean the chain thoroughly
Use OC1 Chain Cleaner or another degreasing product to remove old lubricant, dirt and deposits. A clean chain is essential — new lubricant must reach the metal directly, not settle on a layer of dirt.
2. Shake the can before use
Thorough shaking of the can ensures even mixing of active ingredients. This way, every application has identical effectiveness.
3. Spray the chain evenly
Hold the can approximately 10-15 cm from the chain and spray evenly along the entire chain, directing the aerosol at the rollers. It's best to do this whilst slowly rotating the cranks or wheel to cover all links.
4. Leave to dry
The lubricant needs approximately 10 minutes to dry and form a durable protective coating. During this time, don't move the vehicle — allow the formula to penetrate deep into the chain links.
Important
Avoid applying lubricant to tyre treads and braking surfaces — this may affect traction and brake effectiveness. Use the product in a well-ventilated area or outdoors. Do not expose the can to temperatures above 50°C. Store away from heat sources, sparks and open flames. Avoid contact with skin and eyes — in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Tip
For optimal protection, it's recommended to reapply lubricant after every ride in difficult conditions (rain, mud). After application, wipe off excess lubricant with a clean cloth to prevent dust attraction. If using a UV torch, you can precisely check whether you've covered the entire chain and remove any overspray on other components.
