Surface preparation
Before application, make sure the glass is not hot – it's best to clean a cool or slightly warm surface. Remove loose dust and larger contaminants with a soft brush or dry cloth to avoid scratches when spreading the product.
Product application
Spray the glass or visor with Glass Cleaner foam from a distance of approximately 15–20 cm. Don't skimp on product – even coverage of the entire surface ensures the best cleaning effect. The glass cleaning foam will spread evenly across the surface, penetrating all contaminants.
Spreading and cleaning
Gently spread the cleaning agent using a soft, clean cloth or sponge. Use circular motions to effectively remove fingerprints and greasy stains. For stubborn dirt, you can let the product work for 30–60 seconds before wiping.
Drying and polishing
Wipe the glass dry using a clean paper towel or microfiber cloth. It's best to use top-to-bottom or side-to-side motions to avoid streaking. Don't leave excess product on the surface – it should evaporate completely.
Important
Don't use the product on very hot surfaces or in direct sunlight – this may cause too rapid drying and streaking. Store at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C. Avoid contact with eyes – in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. Keep away from heat sources and open flames.
Tip
For best results, use two cloths – one to spread the product and another, dry one, for final polishing. Microfiber cloths provide a perfect streak-free finish. Clean glass and visors regularly before contaminants dry – it will be much faster and easier.
Is Glass Cleaner suitable for motorcycle helmet visors?
Yes, this glass cleaning foam is safe for all types of helmet visors, including polycarbonate, acrylic and glass. It doesn't damage anti-fog, anti-scratch or UV coatings that are often applied to professional visors.
Can I use this product on eyeglass lenses?
The cleaning agent is safe for eyeglass lenses, however we recommend checking with the eyewear manufacturer whether the lenses have special coatings that may require dedicated cleaning products.
Does the product leave streaks on glass?
When applied correctly, the glass cleaner doesn't leave streaks. The key is thorough wiping of the surface with a dry, clean microfiber cloth. Avoid using the product in full sun or on hot surfaces, which can cause too rapid drying.
How often should I clean glass and visors?
We recommend cleaning after each ride in difficult conditions (rain, mud, heavy insect concentration) and regularly every few rides in normal conditions. Thanks to the electrostatic protective layer left by Glass Cleaner foam, the surface will get dirty more slowly.
Does Glass Cleaner work on dried insect residue?
Yes, the product effectively removes insect residue, however for very dried remains we recommend letting the product work for 1–2 minutes before wiping. In extreme cases, a second application may be necessary.
Can I use Glass Cleaner for cleaning smartphone screens?
Although the product is safe for many surfaces, we recommend using dedicated products for smartphone touchscreens. The electrostatic layer may affect touchscreen functionality.
How to store Glass Cleaner?
Store the product at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Don't store in freezer – low temperatures may affect formula effectiveness.
How long does one 500 ml bottle last?
This depends on frequency of use and size of cleaned surfaces. With regular use for cleaning helmet visor and motorcycle windshields, one bottle lasts 3–4 months. For larger surfaces (car windshields, aircraft windows) consumption will be higher.
Is Glass Cleaner suitable for plastic aircraft windows?
Yes, this glass cleaning foam was developed with aviation in mind and is safe for polycarbonate and acrylic windows used in small aircraft. It effectively removes greasy stains, fingerprints and deposits without damaging delicate surfaces.
